Information You Choose to Send
Search Queries
When you enter a name or other search detail into a tool embedded on this site, the request is sent to the provider operating that tool. The provider processes the entry and returns results under its own terms. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you contact us directly, we retain the message and contact details so we can handle the inquiry. We do not share that message outside our organization unless law or a valid legal demand requires it.
Technical Information and Cookies
Our servers may record ordinary technical details when a page loads, including:
- IP address associated with the connection
- Browser type and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages opened and time spent on them
- Referring website, if present
- Date and time of the visit
Cookies and Analytics
The site uses cookies and analytics services to understand general traffic patterns, such as which pages are used and where visitors leave. A browser can block or remove cookies, though some site functions may then behave differently.
How We Use Visitor Information
- To operate pages and keep them available
- To send a query to the search provider selected by a visitor
- To review broad page traffic and improve site performance
- To diagnose technical errors and security issues
- To show advertising that may be relevant to a visitor
We Do Not Keep a Warrant Database
Tom Green County Warrant Records does not host, assemble, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant files. The site describes where public records may be requested from the Sheriff, courts, and clerks. Visitor information is not joined into consumer reports or into a file about another person. The official Sheriff list and court systems remain with their respective public offices.
Outside Search Providers
Search boxes may be run by independent companies. Information entered in those tools is governed by the provider’s privacy terms, not this notice. We cannot set how an outside company stores, uses, or shares a submission. Read that company’s policy before sending it personal information.
Links Leave This Website
Pages may link to the Tom Green County Sheriff, county clerks, municipal courts, state agencies, legal services, or other providers. Once you follow a link, the destination controls its own data practices. Review its terms before entering personal details.
Advertising companies may also use their systems to measure activity across sites or choose an ad. That processing is not controlled by this website.
Who May Receive Information
We do not sell personal data. Information may be handled by:
- Search partners receiving a query entered in their tool
- Analytics providers measuring page use and performance
- Advertising services that place or measure ads
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under valid legal authority
Keeping Information Secure
We use ordinary safeguards for the information the site collects. No internet service can promise that every system will remain secure in all circumstances. We work to protect the data we hold but cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under 18
This website is intended for adults and is not designed to collect personal details from children. If we learn that a person under 18 has sent us personal information, we will remove it from our records.
Requests About Your Information
Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 541 addresses consumer data protection, subject to its scope, exemptions, and other limits. Where that law applies, a consumer may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or opt out of certain processing. You may also contact us to ask what information we hold about a message or request its correction or removal; we will review the request under applicable law.
- Ask whether we hold a message or contact detail you sent
- Request correction of information you provided that is inaccurate
- Request deletion where retention is not required
- Ask whether an opt-out request applies to the processing at issue
See the official Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 541 for the current statutory text.
